Neither Atman, nor Brhaman, is omnipotent. This talk of "Deva or Eshwara is ominpotent" is borrowed through Christianity by our English educated swamis. If you read Nirvana Shataka, it says "neti neti" neti = na + iti = not that. Atman/Brhman is neither actor, nor the act of acting, nor the thing that is being acted upon. Aham BhOjanm naiva BhOjyam na bhOkta. I am neither food, nor the act of eating, nor the eater. Of course, these people who just repeat "Brhaman is ominpotent" are so busy doing sudharshana kriya these days. Quote
