It is a very walkable city and safe. I agree. Kaani 1 week gets boring. 

To answer your original question, Inka cost param ga chooste:

Flights - Avg 700 per person

Hotel - Week long if you are staying at the same hotel you can try for 3000 (i am quoting a nicer hotel not a budget one)

Visa - 250 for 2 people

Actually internal expenses ekkuva avvavu. 

Transportation is very cheap. We bought weekly pass on metro and that was super comfortable. May be airport ki cab use chesam anthe

i did paris switzerland(with zermatt) italy in 10 days 

everything under 6k living in 4 star hotels near train stations, early train tickets are cheap and dont forget to take insurance
