no, it seems there were some terrorist training places there, but the airstrikes missed them.

airstrikes are mostly useless anyway for precision targeting.

I would be surprised if they don't have infrared cameras to track them. Body heat should be visible from airspace.

they use laser tracking, no.. not bodyheat. airstrikes are always imprecise compared to missile strikes. 

but missile strikes need better knowledge of the terrain for precision.
