Also, there are several reasons, why the N.E infrastructure is not build. 

1) Money matters

2) we do not have enough strength to support our N.E borders. Imagine, once we develop roads and infrastructure and we cannot defend ourselfs. By this time China will be in Delhi dictating us.

He told his opinion, but, he neither said our scientist are not smart nor degraded them. Both you and he might have different sensitivities, as you worked in defense sector you might be more sensitive than him. He didn't have first hand experience like you to understand what goes inside DRDO/HAL. Hence, his response is within his boundary limitations.

Anyways, my take on this is that it is a million dollar question why India never put much stakes in R&D, be it be defense, IT, or any other science/engineering field.  Investing in R&D is only one part of the equation, manufacturing and supply chain is whole another ball game in which we aren't doing great either. Atleast, i hope, this "Make in India" attempt will start the momentum for the manufacturing sector for the future. We don't have regulatory infrastructure in aerospace sector either. We follow US or European regulations. All these sectors should be revised inorder to develop and implement our own tech.

My point is it will take time to for procurement and manufacturing., however we have base setup everywhere but it’s running in a traditional manner we need make it up and progress it’s not a fact that we are 0 in defence manufacturing. Instead of giving to reliance they can give to these guys a part of the money any reliance deliver after 10 years, in the same time these guys can do part split of production.

Lol dude it can be upgraded my point is it’s base version if we upgrade we can do 10th gen also but govt is more interested in reliance than part splitting between private and public manufacturers. India is far behind in Public sector defense it doesn’t mean that it can’t be done it should part splitted between vendors.

Anil Ambani does not involve or part of any of the Rafael’s that are being supplied to india. 

Anil Ambani is partnering with Dassault Aviation which developed and supplies many defence and aviation products one of which is Rafael. 

Now, Do you guys see the difference ????

Ambani is only offset partner. there are several companies who got the offset money. 30k crores was divided among several off which Ambani is one. this is what is called propaganda and ppl like you falling for it is the prime example of how it works
