Richest people in the world - Forbes releases World's Billionaire list 2019

American business magazine Forbes has released a list of a billionaire for 2019. The 33rd annual ranking has 2,153 billionaires on its list. As per the rankings, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has been yet again named the richest person in the world with an estimated worth of $131 billion dollars increasing by around 19 billion dollars in last year.

Microsoft co-founder is number two with a net worth of $96.5 billion dollars followed by Warren Buffett having a net worth of $82.5 billion dollars while Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg dropped three spots to 8th rank.

Indian Billionaire Mukesh Ambani saw his wealth increase nearly 25% in the past year and with that, he has jumped six positions to rank 13th on the list.

However this year the combined net worth of the billionaires has dropped for the first time since 2016. The total combined net worth of this year's billionaires is $8.7 trillion, down from $9.1 trillion in 2018. "
