On the opposite end of the debate that affirmative action takes spots away from “more deserving” students are legacy admissions and wealthy parents paying to get their students into schools. The conversation was highlighted by the college admissions scandal that broke on Tuesday.

Paying the college to get their son/daughter in is common. What they did was outright cheating on the entrance exams.

A payment seat costs 1 million, what these people spent was only around 15-75k to cheat and fake on their admission applications.

You could pay donation instead of bribing which is a lot less illegal.

lol people. why should people write exams to get into college? or pay money?

humans are weird.

they write exams not to get into a college, but to climb the social ladder.

the ladder will be broken, and the ones at the top will suffer broken bones.

that's my life's mission. fcuk people.
