I have taken Bajaj allainz for my Parents. It costed around 50000 Rs, but never used it.

I was told insurance isnt required as , For any emergencies hospitals have to treat even tough  one doesn't have insurance right?

There are couple of cases that I have seen. parents are hospitalized and bill were sent to home for around 40K. They settled them for 6-7 K. If you want to take a chance, I feel insurance may not be needed for visitors.

You get documents. I fortunately never had to use it but we have to pay first and claim later as far as i know.
