For example, we pay $1500 for 6 months and they say $15 copay for doctors visits and they will pay for services upto policy maxiumum.

3 visits with dignostic x rays or lab tests can be more than $1500. What is he gaining? It could be cough, diarahea, kidney stone, sore throat..

Yes close friend took IMG which is same as patriotamerica. It says they will cover Acute Onset of pre existing conditions". His mother got sudden low bp,  called 911 and ambulance came. Took to emergency bill close to 12k. Insurance declined everything. But as soon as ambulance comes one person will ask for id and insurance while other treat patient. As someone said earlier take insurance as that will help you get treatment atleast without much hassle

Also try to avoid to put your name anywhere on paperwork. So if its too big you can just hands up

Which travel medical insurance company is this? If this is true everyone buy this insurance without second thought, but i higly doubt insurance covered this
