Cricketer Ravindra Jadeja's wife, Rivaba Jadeja, is on headlines from past one week over her entry into active politics. She is now seeking BJP ticket from Gujarat's Jamnagar seat.  This is the same place where the Congress party is planning to field Patidar reservation agitation leader Hardik Patel.

This makes the whole episode of LS polls in Jamnagar pretty intriguing. Rivaba is also the president of the Karni Sena women's wing in Gujarat. With the assistance of the Kshatriya community, she has now joined the BJP to make a political grand entry.

Presently, the Jamnagar seat is being represented by Poonam Madam from the BJP. Just a few days ago, PM Narendra Modi met Rivaba and welcomed her into the party.

Back in 2014 LS elections, the BJP had won all the 26 seats in Gujarat which helped the party attain majority at the Centre. Rivaba, who is said to be too aspirant, is now all keen to bring a change in Jamnagar with her win in the coming elections.
