Why do you think of being stuck in IOS ecosystem. 

I just use only iPhone and I don’t feel like I am stuck but iPhones have good longevity I used my iPhone 4 for almost 4 yrs and now iPhone 6s 3 yrs still working fine.

apple airpods are definitely great, no one has produced devices in such low profile, liked them a lot but one has to be cautious not to lose them

if you are more a outdoor person, these are not good due to issue of losing them, if you are more indoor person, there are great

only drawback is you need to use a earbuddy along with it, this is like a ear hook to hold it
