scenic/coastal = Any park on Skyline Blvd, route 35 and 9.

Purisima creek trail

big basin state park

castle rock state park

If you are trying to prep for yosemite half dome, try rose peak from Sunol or from del valle from the other side.

If you don't mind barren trails, start from Ed levin to monument peak to mission peak, then retrace back.
