Sizzler Posted March 30, 2019 Report Posted March 30, 2019 CBN has made the ‘regional emotions’ as the main election agenda. He is trying to do what KCR has successfully done in Telangana elections. CBN has forged an alliance with congress and campaigned extensively in TG. His over indulgence has stirred the emotions of TG people and KCR capitalized it well. He has turrned the contest into Babu vs KCR. His son KTR has proved himself as a capable leader who could lead TG in future. All these helped KCR. But the story is different in AP. People don’t hate KCR *now* as Babu is trying to project. In fact many admire him for achieving TG and also winning the elections second time. TRS is not contesting the elections directly in AP. Babu has tried to ally with them and they rejected him. In fact Babu hasn’t condemned KTR’s comments on Babu discussing political alliance near the deadbody of Harikrishna. Plus Lokesh is not anywhere close to KTR in communication and leadership skills. Lesser he talks, better the chances of TDP. Babu has allied with BJP in 2014 but campaigned that YSRCP is Pilla Congress and they will merge after elections. But he he has allied with Congress (not directly in AP) in 2019 and projecting YSRCP/Modi/KCR as one group. Since he has allied with everyone, I doubt if people will really give too much thought of YCP - TRS- BJP connection. It would have probably been better for Babu to run positive campaign with what he has done / going to do instead of the negative campaign using regional emotions. #TimeWillTell Quote

reality Posted March 30, 2019 Report Posted March 30, 2019 CBN - Got positive results with alliances (but fighting Solo this time) KCR - Got positive results with Solo fight CBN - Samikkyandra KCR - Separate state CBN - Tremendous anti-incumbency KCR - Not that much CBN - YCP and Pawala can do a lot of dent KCR - There was no clear strong opposition party. Alliance of all parties as M kutami confused people, which benefited TRS. Conclusion: Puli ni chusi Nakka vathalu pettukunnatte... @Sizzler Quote
