Jewellery ayite picha light 2 years back Nenu cousin Pelli ki ma Amma techina chala gold hers and mine back tesukella as she was scared to take back . I didn’t pay a penny and they didn’t even stop me in hyd airport . I had bills though . 

coins ayite take 2 but you might have to pay . Coins Ippudu em anta profitable Kadu unless you know a good goldsmith who can make ornaments with gold coins you take. Ippudu machine made has amazing designs and gold Smith chesevi Alano nachav so I think lite but it’s up to you .

Dubai lo masthu designs untayi surely can buy

I would say Dubai lo kathi designa if u r planning to buy ornaments ... but india Lo kuda kuppal unntai ... my suggestion would be duty free dubai/ India

Buy in Dubai because at least you get genuine gold. In India, even big stores like jos allukas cheat customers.

This thread is not for expert gold buyers. It is for ordinary folks. Basically, don't trust gold sellers in India, unless you can verify what you are getting. Don't trust big name brands either--esp in India. In Dubai,  whatever you are getting is real gold. Anyway, my friend's family runs 6 stores across middle east. They are originally from Gujarat.  In Dubai, if you file a complaint, they will arrest the shop owner. So, no hanky panky stuff there.

Dubai duty free lo asalu em konalo telvadhu. Will ask people. I mean chains aa enti annattu. So that India lo kariginchi remade into something else

Yep ! So is in Europe !! Akkada each and every ornament will go through testing unlike in US it’s random .. 

 I agree with you Dubai is best bet for gold !

Such imports are now taxable in India @36%.

gold in the form of coins and bars, are now heavily taxable, where as jewelers is not. 

If you are really serious about buying gold, then buy in the jewelers form.

Just in case if you are not aware, Hyd airport seizes more gold than any other airport in India. 

24k is very soft but you can still find 22k in jewels, simple ones like ring bracelet or simple chain. Such ornaments will have very less impurities and will have least making charges. 

Such type can easily melted and used for our purposes. Anything other than this is not the attempt...

Buying gold in Dubai is no more lucrative anymore.
