Job Description:

 

Candidate will be a member of a mid-size team of Informatica/ETL/Oracle/Perl developers and business analysts. Team supports front office, middle office, market risk, and finance users in collecting, transforming, loading, and reporting end of day and intraday fixed income and derivative trading positions, and other financial data. Data timeliness and accuracy is critical. Candidate will be involved in design, coding, testing, and level 2/3 support of star schema data warehouse. Team uses an Agile development process.

Required Skills :
1. 6-7 + years Informatica experience, ETL Certifications preferred. Good PowerCenter knowledge preferred.
2. 6-7+ years Oracle Experience 
3.  Very Strong Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and Debugging required.   Unix scripting experience is desirable
4. Knowledge of Reporting tools like Cognos/Tableau is a plus.
5. Strong analytical abilities, independent problem solving, and good communication skills and self-motivated
6. A thorough knowledge of Data warehouse schemas, like star, snowflake Schemas are desired.

Soft Skills Desired:
1. Knowledge of Capital Markets products (Fixed Income securities, MBS, OTC Derivatives, FX) a big plus
2. Knowledge of Visio, SharePoint and JIRA ideal
3. Ability to pick up new software skill like Tableau, Cognos etc.
