Brunei's law to punish gay sex with death by stoning goes into effect today

Punishments such as death by whipping and stoning for same-sex sexual acts comes into effect in the tiny southeast Asian country on Wednesday. The move, which will implement a strict Sharia law, has been on hold amid heavy criticism by rights groups.

awesome... one thing I don't understand. They want equality in the society and they dont want to be discriminated but they want a differenet law which is not only insane but contradicts its own thing..
