BREAKING: Claire Grady resigns as acting deputy DHS secretary

Outgoing Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen confirmed that Grady had offered her resignation, effective Wednesday. Nielsen stepped down on April 7. The White House subsequently announced Kevin McAleenan would take over as Acting DHS Secretary.
