The Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official home of President of India, has witnessed a never-seen-before heinous incident. An MSc Delhi student has been allegedly raped by a staff member inside the Bhavan.

Cops have immediately filed an FIR against the accused, Nishant Yadav. He had allegedly raped the girl on the excuse of a marriage.  It is reported that Nishant has asked the victim to come to the staff quarters of the Rashtrapati Bhavan and later raped her on Tuesday night.

Currently, the accused is absconding and more details are yet to be known. Rashtrapati Bhavan is the epitome of India's strength and its democratic traditional values. Hearing this unfortunate news, people are shocked to learn how crime is happening even inside the prestigious campus. It also leaves us wondering if the Bhavan itself is not safe for women, how can any other area in India be safer.
