Most AP folks have vote in 2 places ie registered in hyd and home town in ap , since voting is on the same day some percentage of voters are lost to AP as a lot of people travelled to cast their vote in AP

అమరావతి: రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా ఇంకా 400 పైచీలుకు పోలింగ్‌ కేంద్రాల్లో పోలింగ్‌ ప్రక్రియ కొనసాగుతోంది. సాయంత్రం 6గంటల సమయానికి పోలింగ్‌ కేంద్రాలకు వచ్చినవారందరికీ ఎన్నికల సంఘం అధికారులు ఓటరు స్లిప్పులు జారీచేశారు. దీంతో ఓటర్లు పోలింగ్‌ కేంద్రాల వద్ద బారులు తీరడంతో అర్థరాత్రి వరకు పోలింగ్‌ కొనసాగే అవకాశం ఉంది. పశ్చిమగోదావరి, గుంటూరు, నెల్లూరు, ప్రకాశం తదితర జిల్లాల్లో ఇంకా వేలాది మంది ఓటర్లు బారులు తీరి ఉన్నట్టు సమాచారం. ఈసీ నిర్దేశించిన సమయం ప్రకారం ఉదయం 7గంటల నుంచి సాయంత్రం 6గంటలకే పోలింగ్‌ పూర్తికావాల్సి ఉన్నప్పటికీ ఈవీఎంలలో తలెత్తిన సాంకేతిక కారణాల వల్ల ఓటర్లు ఈ రోజు ఉదయం అసహనంతో వెనుదిరిగిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. అయితే, సాయంత్రం 6గంటల లోపు పోలింగ్‌ కేంద్రాల వద్దకు వచ్చేవారికి ఈసీ స్లిప్పులు మంజూరు చేయడంతో వారంతా సాయంత్రం వచ్చి తమ ఓటు హక్కు వినియోగించుకొనేందుకు బారులు తీరారు. దీంతో ఈ రాత్రి 9.30 గంటల సమాయానికి 400 పోలింగ్‌ కేంద్రాల్లో ఓటర్లు బారులు తీరి ఉన్నారు. దీంతో 80శాతం పోలింగ్‌ నమోదయ్యే అవకాశం ఉన్నట్టు ఈసీ భావిస్తోంది. పోలింగ్‌ ఆలస్యం కావడంపై ఓటర్లలో అసహనం వ్యక్తమవుతోంది.
