White House considered busing ICE detainees to sanctuary cities, WaPo reports

According to The Washington Post, documents show that the Trump administration and hardliners like WH adviser Stephen Miller pressured the Department of Homeland Security, which has jurisdiction over ICE, to release detained migrants in sanctuary cities in order to exert political pressure on rivals like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. The report says that Homeland Security officials pushed back against the proposal, and it was ultimately rejected.

most are released after giving a court date. they cannot be kept in detention for long time. They want to flood these sanctuary cities so that they feel the pinch.

adhe old admin's also realized and never spent money to even catch, why to even waste money if you don't have a plan on what you are doing by catching them?

too much kakapothe...NY lo illegal immigrant ki tution fee reduction untundi. ade H1b parents valla kids ki no resident allocation , they have to pay full tution fees.  taxes kattina there is no help for them. i like liberal thinking but politicians have their priorities all mixed up

For one thing , thousands are caught by border patrols of people illegally crossing. IF that is stopped , then illegals will walk in freely without any fear. ICE mostly catches violent offenders and those who have criminal records. most of these people goto sanctuary cities as the police will not ask them about their status.

This crossing can't be changed overnight. Without their encouragement it wouldn't get here at first place kada. All those people working for the American employers only. If their rules to hire someone loyal and hard working are tough they opt to find alternatives.
