Hindu tradition prakaram, we celebrate festival on the thithi when Sun Rises...

 

lets say tuesday evening 8 PM nunchi Padyami vachi , Wednesday morning 12 PM varaku unte..

u celebrate Ugadi on Wednesday , not Tuesday...

so a logic prakaram manak Saturday.
