Can I select this option ?? it is illegal to show in-laws visited to take care of your child. when you get audit you are required to show the work authorization (if they ask) who is the actual care provider and i’m sure you don’t have anything to prove. If you paid for day care you can claim. Ask your day care provider for k1 forms Quote
Merabharathmahan Posted April 14, 2019 Report Posted April 14, 2019 child tax credit (CTC) $2k istaru kada if child lived with you that year. are you trying to claim more than $2k. Is Day care/child care credit different then child tax credit(CTC). Quote
KrishnaDevaRaya Posted April 14, 2019 Author Report Posted April 14, 2019 yeah you are right. Need SSN of the care taker to claim . Not worth it. Thanks for all replies Quote
