The biggest name missing in this squad is Telugu cricketer Ambati Rayudu. Instead of Rayudu, the selectors have opted for Tamil Nadu all-rounder Vijay Shankar. The next name missing is wicket-keeper Rishab Pant and experienced Dinesh Karthik is picked. Virat Kohli will be leading the side while Rohit Sharma is the vice-captain. The selectors also have showed faith in Lokesh Rahul and he is expected to be the number fourth batsman. Team India is struggling for a number four batsman and Lokesh comes in handy as he can open in case Rohit Sharma or Shikhar Dhawan is rested.
