హైదరాబాద్‌ : తెలంగాణ వరప్రదాయిని కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టులో కీలకఘట్టం ఆవిష్కృతమైంది. వెట్‌ రన్‌ కోసం ఎల్లంపల్లి నుంచి కాళేశ్వరం ఆరో ప్యాకేజీ సొరంగంలోకి నీటిని విడుదల చేశారు ఇంజినీర్లు, అధికారులు. ఎల్లంపల్లి నుంచి 1.1 కిలోమీటర్ల పొడవున గ్రావిటీ కాల్వ ద్వారా జలాలు జంట సొరంగాల్లోకి పోతాయి. దాదాపు 11 మీటర్ల డయా ఉన్న ఒక్కో టన్నెల్‌ సుమారు 9.534 కిలోమీటర్ల సొరంగ మార్గం ద్వారా నంది మేడారంలోని సర్జ్‌పూల్‌కు నాలుగైదు రోజుల్లో నీళ్లు చేరుకోనున్నాయి. నంది మేడారం పంప్‌ హౌజ్‌లో 124.4 మెగావాట్ల సామర్థ్యం గలం మోటార్ల వినియోగంతో సాంకేతికంగా అన్ని జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకొని మోటార్ల ద్వారా నీటిని ఎత్తిపోసే వెట్ రన్ చేపడుతారు. ఈ ప్రక్రియ నిర్వహించేందుకు ఎల్లంపల్లి నుంచి 0.2 టీఎంసీ లోపు జలాల్ని మాత్రమే విడుదల చేశారు. నీటి విడుదల కంటే ముందు పాలకుర్తి మండలం వేమునూరు రెగ్యులేటర్‌ వద్ద అధికారులు పూజలు నిర్వహించారు. 

అంతర్గతంగా ప్రాథమిక పరీక్షలే..
ఎత్తిపోతల పథకాల్లో అమర్చే మోటర్లను బిగించిన తర్వాత అవి నిర్దేశిత వేగంతో తిరుగుతున్నాయా? లేదా? అనేది తెలుసుకునేందుకు మొదట డ్రైరన్‌ నిర్వహిస్తారు. ఆ తర్వాత నీటిని ఎత్తిపోసే వెట్ రన్ చేపడుతారు. కొద్ది సమయం మాత్రమే నిర్వహించే ఈ ప్రాథమిక పరీక్షలో ఏవైనా లోపాలు తలెత్తుతున్నాయా? ఇంకేమైనా జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోవాల్సి ఉంటుందా? మోటర్లు నిర్దేశిత డిజైన్‌ ప్రకారం నడుస్తున్నాయా? వంటి అనేక అంశాలను ఇంజినీర్లు పరీక్షించి, సరిచూసుకుంటారు. గతంలోనూ ఎలిమినేటి మాధవరెడ్డి, కల్వకుర్తి ఎత్తిపోతల తదితర ప్రాజెక్టుల్లోనూ ఇలాంటి పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించారు. ఒకేసారి అధికారికంగా ప్రాజెక్టులోని మోటర్ల ద్వారా నీటిని లిఫ్టుచేయడం వల్ల ఆ సమయంలో లోపాలు తలెత్తినపుడు జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోవడం కంటే ముందుగానే లోపాలను గుర్తించి సరిచేసేందుకు ఇలాంటి ప్రాథమిక పరీక్షలు నిర్వహిస్తుంటారు. ఇదేరీతిన కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టులోనూ వెట్ రన్ కు అధికారులు సిద్ధమయ్యారు.

Seriously, canal and canal la water ante endo kuda telvani districts la canals and water vastundi ante still unbelievable..people are happy..!!! 

Maaku only source of water is rainfall and groundwater...cheruvulu gitla vundayi..every year Jan-feb tarvata under ground water kuda hush kaki..people in some parts of mahaboobnagar have never seen a canal and water flowing in it...atlantidi gadwal,nagarkurnool,dindi side two crops fine rice panta vastundi chetiki...

we are waiting for completion of Palamuru lift. Final phase la vastunayi maaku water.inkoka 2 years padtadi but now we can dream of irrigation by canals...!

Anvu bro, idi matram great effort from govt, maa side anthe no river, no canals, pilla cheruvu lu untay but summer starting lone endipothay. Agriculture ki chaala kastam. Regarding the canals I heard that farmers (or any users) can not directly pump water from them instead aa canals are used to fill the dams and there by increasing underground water ani. Is that true ?

yeah man, these canals are guarded by local groups and one cannot draw water from these canals. This canal network is designed in such a way that water from the main source is fed to smaller lakes and ponds and which will help to increase the groundwater table. Dangerously low aina water table ni kastha improve chesina chalu, bratiki bayata padutaru...
