I might be wrong. But Kaaleshwaram lo kooda some canals work was done during YSR time. It was under different project name.

KCR did a major redesign and increased scope of initial design.

Seriously, canal and canal la water ante endo kuda telvani districts la canals and water vastundi ante still unbelievable..people are happy..!!! 

Maaku only source of water is rainfall and groundwater...cheruvulu gitla vundayi..every year Jan-feb tarvata under ground water kuda hush kaki..people in some parts of mahaboobnagar have never seen a canal and water flowing in it...atlantidi gadwal,nagarkurnool,dindi side two crops fine rice panta vastundi chetiki...

we are waiting for completion of Palamuru lift. Final phase la vastunayi maaku water.inkoka 2 years padtadi but now we can dream of irrigation by canals...!

సిద్దిపేటజోన్‌: కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టులో భాగంగా ప్యాకేజీ 10 కింద చేపట్టిన అనంతగిరి రిజర్వాయర్‌ పనులను జూన్‌ నాటికి పూర్తి చేయాలని  సిద్దిపేట ఎమ్మెల్యే హరీశ్‌రావు అధికారులకు స్పష్టం చేశారు. గురువారం ఆయన సిద్దిపేటలో రంగనాయక, అనంతగిరి రిజర్వాయర్‌ పనులపై నీటి పారుదల శాఖ అధికారులతో సమీక్ష నిర్వహించారు. పెండింగ్‌ పనుల గురించి అధికారులను అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నారు. రంగనాయక సాగర్‌ కింద టన్నెల్‌లో మిగిలిపోయిన 110 మీటర్ల లైనింగ్‌ పనులను వెంటనే పూర్తి చేయాలన్నారు. అలాగే సర్జిపూల్‌ పనులను మే చివరివారంకల్లా ముగించాలన్నారు.

అనంతరం పంప్‌హౌజ్‌ పనుల గురించి ఆరా తీస్తూ ఎట్టి పరిస్థితుల్లోనూ జూన్‌ 30 వరకు పంప్‌హౌజ్‌ పనులు పూర్తి కావాలని అధికారులకు సూచించారు. అనంతగిరి రిజర్వాయర్‌ నుండి రంగనాయక సాగర్‌ని కలిపే 300 మీటర్ల కెనాల్‌ను 15 రోజుల్లోగా పూర్తి చేయాలని ఆదేశించారు. అందుకు కావాల్సిన పెండింగ్‌ భూ సేకరణ త్వరతగతిన పూర్తి కావాలని హరీశ్‌రావు స్పష్టం చేశారు. ఈ సమీక్షలో కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్ట్‌ చీఫ్‌ ఇంజనీర్‌ హరేరామ్, ప్రాజెక్టు అధికారులు ఆనంద్, రవీందర్‌రెడ్డి తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
