yaa baa..basic ga consider tht all the caches in all servers r empty..no address records r available..so when u type mail.google.com, the query finally reaches the root name servers..which will have authority over the TLDs.. .com .in .org etc etc ivi TLDs kada..vaatiki pass chestadi.. .com name server ki google.com address telustadi..and nxt if google.com authoritative server is not authoritative for mail.google.com, then one step lower in the hierarchy, mail.google.com resolve ayitundi
