Long Trip 1000 miles from NJ to Georgia with family

With months kids and toddler this long things to take care .... your quick replies are highly appreciated thanks as going to hit the road shortly

Richmond.. avoid DC unless you want to stop there for sight seeing..

Once we did road trip in 3 days. Got rental car from PA. Exchanged car at Georgia and returned car back to PA.

Stops are Savannah, GA and Austin, TX .

It's a 3500 mile trip Covered PA->VA->GA->TX->MO->OH->PA.

5 people trip, with 4 active drivers.

 

Since you said family, take stop either at Richmond, VA or Durham,NC.

I would personally take stop at Durham,NC. It may take you 2hrs extra drive.

Start at 3pm and drive all night non stop.family sleeps no need of breaks.day lo kids cry and noisy
