I am posting this as some one asked info about it.  Chala dilema situation .. Please advise if you know any info.

Friend of Friend's mother travelled to US with ICICI insurance with 50 K coverage. She got a heart stroke and admitted in ICU. She has a swelling in her brain and doctors said that she needs to go through surgery if swelling gets worsen.

1. Ipudu oka vela brain surgery chesaka enni months tarvatha india vellachu ? 
2.  Antha varaku rehabilitation center lo unchali .. ICICI insurance rehabilitation center ki cover cheyadhu ...  Rehabilitation center ki without insurance cost entha untundhi ? 

3. oka person unconscious state lo unte air travel cost entha untundhi ?

ye state ? ma colleague vaalla in-laws last year osthe .. vaalla father-in-law had heart stroke and surgery chesaru ,, CA law edho undhi anta .. so they were saved with bills .. if it is CA i can check with him

Take her to county hospital and do the treatment tell him not to give his details or go to some cash treatments available

What did she have ? A heart attack or a brain stroke ?

You can always negotiate with the hospital.  No one will deny treatment .  But rehab is almost impossible unless you are willing to pay .

Rehab is quiet expensive . But that can be discussed later . Most important issue is how sick is she ? If you want to take her to India , hospital has to clear her for travel . If she is unconscious, looks like she had a massive brain stroke .

mana desi gallu andaru ide try sestharu . But hospitals still have to treat them. Their treatment expenses will be passed on to legal insurance paying people 

soon they will ban visiting visas too for parents.

Ante nenu emannanu ante surgery kavali ante there is no other option now .She has to undergo surgery if she needs it . Rehab gurinchi tarvata discuss cheyochu . You can't avoid either one . Yes , monthly installments oka option . Negotiate cheyochu . Ask them to sit and discuss with case managers . But again , how sick is she ?
