Another big success. Mission Bhageeratha...

Providing safe drinking water is the basic thing the governments should have done in the past but unfortunately, we had govt's which did not do enough.

Every village now has overhead tanks which pipe water to households directly, clean and purified water.

Maa village la oka 10 years back ae andaru money pool in chesi RO plant pettinchukunaru, Now, Mission Bhageeratha kinda ekadaithe ie RO plant vundo, akade oka over head tank katti reservoir nundi pipe line connect chesinaru, assured water for drinking purposes even in mid-summer.

oorla adollu bindelu patukuni ready ga vutunde....tankers epudu vastaya ani edirisusteollu...Now, it is a distant dream.

Boss niku telso ledo but all villages had overhead ranks before 2014.until 2010 we used to drink water from well, then polluted, then dooramga boring vesi overhead tank filled n drinking.now we have RO setup by kirastani vallu and using it.so whats new is , renovation and maintenance.ofcourse 24/7 power valla tank fills daily but groundwater running out.

mission kaka/bhagee ivanni old projects by ys ( paniki aaharam/karuvu pani) funds were used to cheruvu poidika tiyadam.

only new thing is 24/7 power which we buy for 15 rupees from other states and give free which is worst.

Not all villages had an over head tank or school tanks.

Every over head tank was filled by underground water from the borewell which was often unpurified.

If the borewell went dry, then the actual problem would start.

Such overhead tanks are all connected with reservoirs and water treatment plants, a network of water treatment plays, balancing reservoirs and pipe network.

@Katara

You seem to educated and sensible but when you claim that KCR Govt is buying power at 15 Rs per unit and distributing it for free, I don’t think sensible stands true.

Check out the website

http://www.vidyutpravah.in/

This is a dashboard owned by the Ministry of Power and data is refreshed once every 30 mins and gives you an idea about power available, deficit, region wise and price per unit from the exchange.

Today’s rate is Rs.2.89/Unit and you claim of 15 rupees is no where near the reality...we live in a world where information is available at our fingertips, still we choose to believe in fake and falsified news and we concrete our opinions and claims based on such fake information. Sad.
