Kaani PV Narsim Rao wrote in his book "Insider" about such migrations. Even during his times, say 1980, people from Karimnagar, Warangal moved to mumbai in seeking odd jobs. Lots of people who moved to big cities for odd jobs during 1980's have become rich now, thanks to whatevr real estate they bought those days.

 

This migration has actually slowed down since the last 10 years. 

Palamoor itself is popular for it’s migrating labor. Most of the villages lo intlo papam old people thappa everu vundakapotunde....Dasara apudu thapa ooru antha kaali vuntunde...

People started returning back...not nessasarily they have taken up agriculture but the skills which they learnt else where, they have been using to make their lives better in their home states...or perhaps, the increase in real estate values also have sided the ghar wapsi

+1 most of the migrations reduced and few places reverse migration started at least valsalu aithe chala taggayi

yeah, Palamuru Lift irrigation and Kaleshwaram tho main canals tho reservoirs fill chesi, akadi nundi feeder canals thoruh local tanks fill chestaru...

Pamaluru and Kaleshwaram tho direct canal tho irrigation chala takuva, tanks fill up ae main aim..
