Apple Conserving mangroves, a lifeline for the world

Mangroves – trees and shrubs that grow in coastal waters – absorb ten times as much carbon as land-based trees, which is why Apple announced last year that it was investing in a mangrove restoration project in Columbia. The company has marked Earth Day by reporting back on the environmental project.

Asian countries lo kuda unnai Mangroves, but due to over population in those countries, Like Thailand, Indonesia.

People cannot simply be displaced for sake of conservation...and none from the country will agree to that..

Columbia lo a problem ledu, they have other vast resources to depend upon ..and Govt kuda will agree for that..

Asian countries lo lot of poor families depend on food from mangroves..
