There is no straight answer for this because Amazon never announce the list.  We have to go here and do our own math and it changes every year.

And if you know Apple has been on iCloud standard 5 GB free tier service ever since they announced, if they bump up the free tier to higher storage the number will outpace anyone else due to the number of active devices.

2012..not 2015.

and the spending is per year who is paying more..not who is using more.or have been using it longer.

They have their own data centers powered by Solar but they are for different products. It’s merely impossible for them to maintain something like. It’s not their line of business but they may move. Like  Maps data, App Store Content for developers which doesn’t need to be on AWS and can host on their own. iCloud is more sensitive compared to the above. If you have active scalable network then they can connect and retrieve data from their data center. Very subtle difference between their own data center versus AWS.

Netflix has grown tremendously. Tumblr has cut down their free storage tier from 1 TB to 15 GB. There is always lot of imminent shift in companies strategy time to time.  If  allows more than 5 GB /user then apple will be paying to Amazon on your behalf. It make sense for them to not to give free storage.
