Thanks bhayya. I cannot be in the same title from start to finish of GC with same pay and same title anyway. So porting is done at the time of extension?

you don't need another i140 in your entire lifetime based on current GC wait times or GC quota.

So Feel free & change employers as needed after your approved i140 is 180 days old..

So even if we change SOC code, get promoted with new job title with better salary can manage to get extensions and dont worry till the  priority dates become current?

Technically yes as per the current rules. As long as they don't change any of the related immigration laws.

140 approved is no use these days other than just to get ONLY ELIGIBILITY for applying H-1 extension. No default H-1 extension approvals based on with approved i140.

Every amendament or extension is new H-1B.

Makes sense bhayya as per the current situation

So basically I dont want to go with immediate perm processing with new FTE employer as they deny my offer if I say you have to do my PERM ASAP

You should be fine. The only scenario you'll be on the hook is if in the worst case the law changes such that you cannot use the old 140 for extensions; in that case you have to get your employer to file your GC before the next extension. But again that's a very highly unlikely scenario.

not needed. you are good to change as many employers as needed and eligible to apply for H-1 extensions as well as H-4EAD.
