Considered it a few years back. No longer the plan. Back then, I got in touch with a couple of Pharmacists in Canada through one Orkut community to know about the exam, preparation and all. 

Done with your PR?

Why not a doctorate in pharm here? They get 120k here for that work on avg.

Couldn’t afford to get that degree here

One need to have required credentials before taking the test in US. With just the bachelor's degree from India, test takers won't be enough qualified - in that scenario the student need to complete a 3 year program, which is pretty expensive. Works if someone has a PharmD degree from India.

All Ph.D. students admitted to the program are offered financial support in the form of teaching or research assistantships.
