Downfall of bike-share start-ups leaves Chinese town scattered with hundreds of bicycles

The town of Wangqingtuo housed factories that manufactured bicycles for booming bike-share companies that have since gone bust. Now hundreds of bikes and parts are scattered across the town, along with shuttered buildings. Reporters Cao Li and Alexandra Stevenson investigated the "bicycle town" for the New York Times.
