In another 10 years the maintenance will be very high, returns will be low/remain same and with the new constructions around, you will not have much takers when you sell your apartment. Besides, it's also difficult for your family to stay in an old apartment which is more than 10 years.

I am talking abt people who are having cash in hand and looking to invest. Apt is not a ad option if you can buy for a reasonable price
