GoT cinematographer defends Battle of Winterfell against complaints of darkness

Fabian Wagner offered his thoughts on the Battle of Winterfell, which received criticism over the episode's lighting and photography. Some fans said that the viewing experience was too dark, to which Wagner replied, "Everything we wanted people to see is there."

Yeah..too dark. CGI time thakkuva unte...dark/blur lagistharu...to reduce the work load of creating picture perfect.

And anyway, ..episode story kooda disappointment...they hyped up the night king and white walkers from the very first episode of GoT. But they killed him off so easily without much action and drama.
