Masood Azhar, Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) chief will now face an assets freeze, a travel ban and an arms embargo. India renewed its bid to designate him as a global terrorist in the United Nations Security Council sanctions list after the Pakistan-based JeM claimed responsibility for an attack in Kashmir that killed nearly 40 security personnel.
