There was one short film from Idreams on farmers, later they removed that youtube..I am pretty sure this movie is copy of that short film..

The story goes like this, software engineer [awarded as best employee of the year] quits job and his love to move back to his village to do farming...Many  farmers would have died in his village because of insufficient returns and rains..His father and friends warn him to return to job and leave the farming..he invites all his village folks [who moved to cities as daily labors] for a meeting..in that meeting he requests people to stay in village and continue farming and promises that he will pay them same money that they were earning in the city...when people ask him why he is doing that, he says that he wants to see farmer as a king but not as a slave. He gets money from his friends to pay the salaries to farmers...He comes up with modern farming ideas and suggest to grow Quinoa which needs very less water etc..his girl friend reunites with him and continue to stay in village..short film ends with many software engineers returning to villages to become farmers..I still remember the final dialogue of that short film,  a farmer asks returning software : Emi alludu, panduga ledu kadha endhuku vasthunnavu ooriki

Software: Ippati nunchi prathi roju panduga ye mama 

 

Lets see if this short film story matches with Maharshi movie
