This has to do with I-130 priority dates for spouses of GCs. As long as I-130 is not current, you can't get an EAD. Nor can you file I-1485 concurrently with I-130.  Anyway, do your research.

If someone gets gc based on marrying an American spouse, that gc holder can't sponsor his/her spouse for five years.

You can get EAD in 90 days by marrying a GC. That’s why I said there is not much difference between marrying a GC and citizen

GC ventane em radu. You still have to go through all the process. EAD takes 90 days. GC and removing conditions may take a couple of years

Not a helpful answer.  The availability of immigrant visa for spouses of green card holders is NOT immediate. Right now, if the spouse is born in India, his/her priority date is 01 MAR 17.   If vendu aunty marries tomorrow, and her  would-be-hubby files I-130 for her tomorrow, her priority date somewhere around 07 MAY 19. She is not going to get an EAD based on that petition.

In the case of approved I-140 petitions, if a beneficiary gets married right before his priority date, yes, both partners will get green card.  It is the case with green card lotteries. That's why many single folks who in this lottery, end up marrying for money, so that the the spouse can get the green card along with him--using some predated marriage certs.
