Baahubali Producer Irked with Avengers |

'Avengers: Endgame' is now creating ripples at the box-office worldwide. New records are being created.

The Marvel franchise movie is also set to cross Rs 300 Cr mark in India thereby becoming the first ever Hollywood movie to achieve this mark.

In its first week, “Avengers: Endgame” has collected whopping Rs 260 Cr which is higher than any Hindi movie ever collected in India.

Well-known Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh declared that the film has created an all-time record compared to Hindi biggies in first week in India.

He mentioned that the second place goes to “Baahubali 2” (Hindi) that collected Rs 247 Cr.

But this didn’t go well with the producer Shobu Yarlagdda.

The Baahublai producer reminded Taran Adarsh that it is unfair to compare “Baahubali 2” Hindi version with “Avengers Endgame”.

“Baahubali 2” in all languages put together had collected nearly Rs 540 Cr in India in its first week in 2017. Where as “Avengers: Endgame” in all languages put together collected Rs 260 Cr.

Shobu got irked with this unjust comparison.

“Not to take away the success any of the films listed below, I don't think this is a right comparison and doesn't put things in perspective especially from veteran trade analyst like yourself! BB2 one language (predominantly North India) vs all other films all languages pan India,” he pointed out.

The box-office records of “Baahubali 2” are still intact in India.
