A Universal ever-present solution to the sign language translation is now been provided, a hard-of-hearing individual who need to communicate with the other person, where the other one cannot understand the sign language, can have personalized, a virtual interpreter at any time anywhere.

The engineers from Michigan State University have developed and patented such technology that can break the barriers of sign language. There were such technologies but this new one is portable and small and non-invasive.

The Assistant Professor of electrical and computer engineering, Mi. Zhang talked about the technology and the benefits of the translator.  Technology is called as DeepASL, which features deep learning, or machine learning based on data inspired by the structure and function of the brain-algorithm, that automatically translates signs into English.

Taking about the benefits, Zhang discussed the privacy and health condition of the hard of hearing patient, who needs a hospital translator, or a relative to communicate with the doctor. This new technology will break through communication Barriers.
