More and more skeletons are said to be tumbling out of the Tollywood cup board with regard to narcotics racket that came to light with the arrest of top hero Ravi Teja’s brothers Raghubabu and Bharat by the Banjara Hills police on Thursday night.

According to police sources, there are at least 60 prominent film personalities and even politicians and children of bureaucrats who are known to be selling and purchasing drugs from prohibited sources on a regular basis. Some of the names include an upcoming hero whose movie was released on Friday; a very popular music director whose name was linked to a heroine and both of them are regular consumers of drugs; a young hero, who happens to be grandson of a veteran producer and nephew of another top hero; and another young hero who is now running a pub-cum-restaurant at Jubilee Hills after a string of flops in the films.

“We are getting different names involved in the drug racket and we cannot disclose their names at present for want of evidence. But we will not spare anyone if our interrogation proves them guilty, Hyderabad police commissioner A K Khan said, while producing Raghu and Bharat before the media.
