Hello folks, lately no one willing to take h1b candidates , other than w2. It has become difficult to even get interview call .

 

Please let me know if there are any backdoor or internal fillings and most importantly your client willing to take h1. Greatly appreciated.

Skills: Nexus 5k,7k,9k, Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco ASA  ( recently started working on fire power). Latest 9500, 9300 catalyst virtual stack, can work on f5 ltm, gtm, 

Weakness: cannot work on the web proxieees high end security and aci . noHyper flex , no cloud

Experience since 2010..this is my eigth year if h1. Previously worked on opt for 2 years. 

It become tough to market myself as my network is very limited, since I never been without job. So almost after since I been in consultancy in early 2010 I am marketing my resume again and no one cares whether you have skills or not..just w2 is what matters the most. If h1 looks like, backfill is the only option.

-Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.

 -Working collaboratively with both internal and external teams to support the product development life cycle.

 -Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures.

 -Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems.

-Replacing faulty network hardware components when required.

 

-Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made. The Emerging Services organization is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, prototype, configure, evaluate and administer our network topology. The candidate must possess a strong background in networking fundamentals (layers 1-3) and will have demonstrated experience configuring, deploying, administering, and maintaining LAN/WAN networking equipment. Strong Linux system administration skills is a must. The candidate's duties will include maintenance of computer networks, hardware, software, and other related systems, protecting data, software, and hardware from attacks, and replacing faulty network hardware components when necessary. open source technologies. • Highly proficient and hands on experience in the following inter networking technologies IPv4/IPv6, BGP/MBGP, MPLS, L2VPN, L3VPN, L2 switching, VxLAN. • Experience with PTPv2 a plus • Linux system administration skills • Knowledge of SDN/NFV concepts • Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including firewalls, routers and switches. • Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources. • Experience with development frameworks/technologies such as o Ansible/Ansible Tower o Python o Restful API • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

no life for H1b all jobs are getting hired by references these days..... neeku entha vachu anedi chudatam ledu ..... talented or not ..... h4Eads, OPTs and Gc getting jobs quickly .... anduke H4 EAD is kukka biscuit ... indirectly hurting every one .... I will check wth my friends let you know....

I recommend you to tinker with this stuff. Cloud networking is easy: just ipsec tunnels under a different name (say, AWS direct connect). Security groups, Nacls, stateless/stateful. Just include it in your resume once you have some basic understanding, since these days recruiters want to see keywords. Even in interviews, once you have some basics, they can take you in.
