My Nephew  just graduated from 10th class.

He is in dilemma whether to choose MEC (Maths , economics, commerce) or MPC.(Maths, physics chemistry)

After talking to him he said he hate Phycis and chemsitry somehow he didn't like Physics and chemistry.

MEC chesthanu antunadu. MEC chesthe , Career in India ela plan cheuskovachu, elanti jobs techukovachu.

incase MEC chesi GMAT raasi US vasthe, education expenses etla untayi and career in US elauntundhi , elanti opportunities vasthayi..

please provide your inputs.. TIA

MPC

You can take physics/microeconomics/anthropology/ microbiology as electives along with stats. Ee lavdalo non it courslu chesi h1 querylu veyinchukovadam kanna chaala better. Banks lo risk management lekapothe insurance companies lo easy ga hire chestharu.

If I had the option of redoing everything I could, I would choose to do either biology from Pilani or Biochemistry from IISC. But again, I am doing what I am doing because of what I did in the past, so I cannot complain.

thanks for the information.

MEC chesaka, BSC cheyamantava instead of GMAT?

BSC/MSC lo which electives are btter cheppudu bro..?

We are short of statisticians cheppalante.. inka individual interest like economics/ econometrics cheyochu after that FRM. Nice career. Most trading firms have guys with PHD in physics and statistics designing their risk models. 40% of profit generated on top of base for these guys. IT and management salaries are nothing tbf.
