100km from Hyd, 1 acre=42lakhs ($60k/acre)

On way to our village Mothkur in Yadadri

In Dec 2018 a 10 acre land was quoted at 1.4cr (14lakhs/acre), now the same property costs 42lakhs/acre ($60k/acre)  4.2cr

Remember this is not even a roadside property, roadside is $100k/acre (70lakhs on average).

Where is the money coming from guys?

Not many people save more than $2-4k/month, even in a year you cant buy 1 acresorry

Real estate growth is becoming damn expensive compared to per capita income growth. 

So unless you got properties from your ancestors , you wont be able to buy much on your own.

Speculation. Usually, speculations load up by leveraging: for instance, many homeowners in the bay area own a second home in their area; if they can afford a third home, they don't mind.  That's how you create a flurry of transactions, and drive up the prices.

ముంబై : ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థలో వృద్ధి రేటు దూకుడుగా ఉం డటం, ఆదాయాలు పెరగటం వంటి అంశాలతో బ్యాంకింగ్‌ వ్యవస్థలో డిపాజిట్ల సేకరణ గరిష్ఠ స్థాయికి చేరుకుంటుందని భారతీయ రిజర్వ్‌ బ్యాంక్‌ (ఆర్‌బీఐ) వెల్లడించింది. పెద్ద నోట్ల రద్దు సమయంలో బ్యాంక్‌ డిపాజిట్లు పెరిగినప్పటికీ అనంతర కాలంలో ఇవి తగ్గుముఖం పడుతూ వచ్చాయని, దీంతో వ్యవస్థలో రుణాలు, డిపాజిట్ల మధ్య అంతరం ఏర్పడిందని ఈ పరిస్థితిని చక్కదిద్దేందుకు తీసుకున్న చర్యలు సత్ఫలితాలిచ్చాయని ఆర్‌బీఐ తాజాగా నెలవారీ నివేదికలో ప్రకటించింది. ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థల్లో నగదు అంతరాలను తగ్గించేందుకు ఇటీవలి నెలల్లో ఆర్‌బీఐ.. ఓపెన్‌ మార్కెట్‌ ఆపరేషన్స్‌ (ఓఎంఓ), డాలర్‌ రూపీ స్వాప్‌ వేలం వంటి వాటిని చేపట్టిందని పేర్కొంది. సంస్థాగత నగదు లభ్యత తగ్గిపోయి రుణాలు, డిపాజిట్ల మధ్య అంతరం ఏర్ప డే అవకాశం ఉండటంతో ఆర్‌బీఐ సత్వరమే చర్యలు తీసుకుందని నివేదిక తెలిపింది. దీంతో పరిస్థితి చక్కబడిందని పేర్కొంది.
 
ఈ ఏడాది మార్చి 31నాటికి షెడ్యూల్డ్‌ కమర్షియల్‌ బ్యాంకుల్లో మొత్తం డిపాజిట్లు రూ.1,25,72,600 కోట్లకు చేరుకున్నాయని ఆర్‌బీఐ తెలిపింది. మొత్తం బ్యాంక్‌ రుణాల్లో ఇది 128.7 శాతం. బ్యాంక్‌ డిపాజిట్లలో కుటుంబాలు చేస్తున్న పొదుపు చాలా కీలకంగా ఉంటోందని, 2009 అక్టోబరు నుంచి తగ్గుముఖం పడుతూ వస్తున్న ఈ డిపాజిట్లు గత ఏడాది డిసెంబరు నుంచి ఒక్కసారిగా పెరగటంతో బ్యాంకుల్లో రుణ లభ్యత పెరిగిపోయిందని పేర్కొంది.

only 30 lakhs varaku OK anukunta, aa taruvata IT risk unnadi, anudu ke chala mandi trying to buy whatever they could, my father offloaded some land and he has been on a hunt to buy something else for 4 months now and either he is not finding what he likes or what he likes is out of his range..also from the point he started out, the same property appreciated 20-25% in this 4 months. Also the competition is crazy, in couple of instances my dad would call me and I delayed by a day or two to decide and they were gone by the time we got back to the seller
