The Sri Lankan government enforced a country-wide curfew in response to retaliatory attacks against mosques and Muslim-owned businesses following the Easter bombings by Islamist militants. Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said the country's military was given orders to use "maximum power" to control further unrest.
