“Man, I’m just born to be in it,” read the cover of Vanity Fair, which launched O' Rourke's 2020 presidential campaign. In his appearance on The View, the presidential hopeful said he recognizes how the cover reinforces the "perception of privilege" and clarified that he was attempting to say his calling was in public service.
