Donald Trump Jr. reaches compromise with Senate to testify about Mueller report topics

The president's son reached a deal to testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee in mid-June. Negotiations lasted into Tuesday as some Republicans pushed back against the idea of forcing the president's son to testify. The committee subpoenaed Trump Jr.'s testimony after the release of the Mueller report raised fresh questions about his role in the Trump Tower Moscow negotiations and related issues.
