Product manager  ( Project or TEAM )has to come up with an idea or WHAT should he do to -

• make the business more successful,
• drive more revenue for the company,
• keep customers engaged and happy with the service/product, etc.

Solutions Architect ( for one  project or TEAM) generally is thought of as Engineering Manager/Lead who is responsible to architect HOW to make that ‘idea’ (that PM comes up with) happen technically. He/she may have his team to execute the idea but Solutions Architect defines how the developers would actually be developing it.

 Principal Architect  ( Enterprise / company) ,  One should know the  company echo system ,,you oversee the work of junior Architects, and perform a host of other project management duties.
