crime too high, growth saturated, heavy traffic, heavy snow and wind, Govt bankrupt, poor ground water.

Try to get away from there if possible

Thats in downtown bro, traffic is worse.

I worked in IL for 5 years before moving out and frankly at 120k, you will be spending more on gas and traffic is unbearable. 2 hrs to downtown in the morning and 2 hours back

Go to arizona and get some peace of mind.

Chicago lo 120K java ki 5 yr exp tho ante manchi salary ne kani arizona 110k is better just for the fact that chicago cost of living and taxes are way higher than phoenix or arizona in general.

Chicago kani job market manchidi, once you move here neku kotha job search cheskunna vere jobs ki move aina konchm options ekva untay and easier to find something new in the vast chicago metro area. Even future lo ne family ki job vethakali anna easier than phoenix. Public transport to downtown kuda chala options untay.  Make your choice based on that.
